Healthy Protein Cookies
These healthy cookies are sure to become a family favourite in no time, just don’t make the same mistake I did and announce that you’re making HEALTHY cookies because the moment I said that I knew my kids would not try them 😂 However, the good news is that they actually love these cookies and will devour them so long as they think they came from the cookie shop and mommy and daddy had nothing to do with them.
But on a serious note, this Healthy Protein Cookie recipe is a great way to mix in some protein into your kids life without them really knowing it! These cookies are made with simple ingredients, unlike store-bought cookies which are loaded with refined sugars and unhealthy fats. This homemade version is consciously crafted to provide a balanced blend of wholesome ingredients. By using ripe bananas as a natural sweetener and incorporating protein-rich peanut butter and protein powder, we've created a snack that satisfies cravings while supporting sustained energy levels and will help give your kids a little more protein which is essential for healthy and strong children.
Additionally, the lower sugar content helps prevent spikes in blood sugar, making these cookies a suitable choice for those looking to manage their intake of added sugars. Whether enjoyed as an afternoon pick-me-up, a post-workout refuel, or a lunchbox treat, these cookies offer a convenient and nutritious option for busy individuals seeking to nourish their bodies without compromising on taste.
