Happy October Squadies! It is finally time to announce our LEANMAZING super squadie for the month of October!

For the month of October, our Super Squadie is the LEAN-MAZING:
JJ KEOGAN!!

JJ got started on the #90DAYLEANPLAN in August 2019! Since then, JJ was able to TRANSFORM his life! JJ lives a busy life, working as a carpenter and a volunteer firefighter. Throughout the years, JJ began to start feeling lethargic, tired and unmotivated and knew he had to do something to make a change in his life in order to be happy. JJ had been following the LEANSQUAD on Instagram since way back and had been seeing my posts about motivation, lean meals and of course the #90dayleanplan. Rather than waiting for the perfect time to take the plunge, JJ made a life changing decision and became an official part of the Squad!
JJ has made some LEANMAZING progress since joining the squad! In 3 short months, he was able to build lean muscle and get his body into shape! Not only has he transformed physically, but through healthy eating and working out, JJ was able to grow and change mentally, becoming happier and more energized. JJ, you are truly a leansperation! When you didn't know where to start, you had the courage to commit to yourself and your health and jump right into your lean journey! You have continued to work hard and stay motivated throughout your journey! Most importantly, you were able to take this plan and turn it into a sustainable life style!

Q5: When did you join LEANSQUAD?
Beginning of August, 2019
Q6: Which phase are your currently on?
I just finished phase 3, taking a week to do another go at phase 3 then starting a fourth phase!
Q7: What’s your biggest success as a part of the LEANSQUAD?
Getting back to the old me I had lost for a while. I had never thought I would be able to be in this good of shape but the mental health aspect was beyond the biggest success I’ve taken. That and getting a lot better/faster at cooking!
Q8: What’s your favourite LEAN Meal?
My favourite lean meal is definitely the sweet potato toast, with eggs (sunny side up for me) and guacamole, had that the most for my Lean-refuel meals.
Q9: What’s your favourite Whoopsie?
Pizza
Q10: What’s your number 1 LEANSQUAD tip to share?
I'd have to say making sure you get to bed a little earlier so you can wake up energized to get a fasted morning workout in! Also definitely doing even a small amount of meal prep on the weekend and midweek so there is less of a need to constantly be cooking!
Q11: What would you say to someone who is about to start their lean journey?
You won’t regret it! Its an awesome 3 months and at the end, everything you learn becomes habit and it really is a lifestyle change not some crash diet, the food is amazing and after a while unhealthy options won’t even cross your mind. It is a blast, the results are incredible, and easy to maintain!
Q12: What’s your favourite LEAN restaurant to eat out at?
Oka’s Sushi in Jasper, the rice isn’t the leanest but its all fresh, healthy ingredients and so tasty!

Have yet to craft any recipes of my own, but hopefully will eventually!
(P.S. Would just like to mention that my monotone voice and lack of public speaking skills may make me sound underwhelmed, I was glancing at notes I made to keep on track ;). However, I am beyond stoked for everything this program and Phil has done for me, can’t wait to continue the lifestyle and introduce the odd new phase from time to time to get a new set of workouts, Phils amazing personal help and some new recipes as well!)
