Read more about her LEAN JOURNEY BELOW!!!

Q1-Q4: Name, age, hometown, occupation

Name: Alysha Blazevic

Age: *Gulp* 40

Hometown: Calgary, AB

Occupation: Aside from being a wife to handsome husband & Momma to 2 kick a** kids age 1 & 3 years old, I’m a Co-owner of small local business called Intuitive Homes Ltd. AND finally a 17 Year flight attendant for WestJet Airlines (Currently on 18 month maternity leave going back flying in June)

Q5: When did you join LEANSQUAD?

November 2018

Q6: Which phase are your currently on?

Week 2 of Phase 3

Q7: What’s your biggest success as a part of the LEANSQUAD?

The confidence I have when working out again, feeling strong and having energy all day long!

I’m no longer looking for that 2pm cup of coffee.

I love going into my basement with my kids and working out.  Showing them a realistic active lifestyle. I don’t have a gym membership and it’s important to me having a program that lets me to workout around my kids schedule.

Some days I get up early and work out before they wake up, other days I have two little ones on my back adding weight to my planks LOL!

Q8: What’s your favourite LEAN Meal?

Grilled Chicken Taco Bowl with Cauliflower Rice is one of my favourite lean meals!!

My Husband’s Favourite meal is the LEAN Chicken Caesar wrap!

Q9: What’s your favourite Whoopsie?

Wine! (I didn’t even have to think about it!)

Q10: What’s your number 1 LEANSQUAD tip to share?

Step 1: PLAN! Meal prepping is important but for me it starts with planning.  I use an app to do all my meal planning called PLAN TO EAT by dragging and dropping the LEANSQUAD recipes into my calendar.  It auto populates a grocery list for me.  Step 2: Then I use a click and collect app to pre order my groceries.  That way no whoopsie’s find there way into my shopping cart it keeps me on track.  And its easy to pick up with two small kids in the car, saves a good hour grocery shopping and I don't even step foot into the store.

Q11: What would you say to someone who is about to start their lean journey?

DO IT! Start right now! No regrets!   For me it was important to make this a lifestyle and not another “fad diet” I knew I had a busy Nov & Dec with travel, weddings to attend, both my kids birthday’s, parties and all the holiday festivities. I allow myself the whoopsie's and it just makes me work harder the next day, its all about balance and making sure you get right back on track.  I didn't want to wait until the New Year for it to be my New Years resolution.

Q12: What’s your favourite LEAN restaurant to eat out at?

I’m an Alberta girl so noting beats a good steak … Keg is close to our house and a favourite date night dinner for my hubby and I.  I also love any CRMR properties, Lake House, Cilantro are amazing Calgary run local restaurants that we love to support
