the leansquad clothing drive!!!!

THIS SUMMER, THE LEANSQUAD IS GOING TO DO IT'S BEST TO DONATE AS MANY POUNDS OF CLOTHES AS POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM MOST.

THE LEAN MISSION!

When I first started leansquad, I made it my mission to help as many individuals get fitter, healthier and leaner as possible. Now, after 1 year, that mission is continually growing and after talking with so many Squadies, there appeared to be a way we could help EVEN more people out there by simply donating our clothes that no longer fit. That way, those who couldn't afford warm clothes for the winter, suits for a job interview or simply clothing for their children, can ensure that will no longer be a worry for them.

With this in mind, over the course of the summer, Squadies are encouraged to donate as many clothes as possible to their local clothing drive. Every time a Squadie's clothing size drops, we are presented with a leanmazing opportunity to help those around us!!!

HOW DO WE HELP?

So, all we have to do, is bag our clothes that no longer fit, weigh them (this is the one time you are encouraged to hop on a scale), snap a photo of you on the scale like the one above, send in your picture and total weight of clothes (because we want to raise more awareness), and drop of your clothes!

I will record the cumulative weight of all the clothes donated this summer and by the end, we will have made a leansanely positive change for all those in need!!

WHERE TO DONATE?

Salvation Army (The money earned from donated clothes goes toward the charity's program, services and emergency relief efforts)

Oasis Clothing Bank (Gives donated gear to participants in the Oasis Addiction Recovery programs)

Dress to Success (Provides young individuals looking for jobs with professional attire)

Canadian Diabetes Association Clothesline (Profits for clothes go to CDA, diabetes research, education, programs and advocacy)

Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (Money earned from their resale helps fund the organizations programs and services)

New Circles (Helps out low income families)

Now let's get lean and help those in need this summer!
