The perfect progression from a 30 Day Challenge. On the 6 Week Lean Dumbbell Challenge we will use weights from start to finish to continue to challenge your body.

 

The addition of weights allows us to introduce new movements and push our muscles, unlocking even more lean potential.

Specifically designed to take the leanness to the next level after you’ve completed a 30 Day Lean Challenge. All you need is a set of dumbbells, a mat and a little bit of space to take the leanness to the the next level.

The 6 Week Lean Dumbbell Challenge is broken into two, 3 week phases. Each day I take you through a brand new workout with different exercises, new intervals and weight variations to ensure that you are making the MOST of each workout. Each workout is written specifically to build on the previous workout so that you never plateau.

Yes! 

The ONLY rule when starting a Lean Challenge is that YOU do YOUR BEST. It is not a competition and you are not comparing yourself to anyone else. All the exercises are bodyweight and it’s important you do them to the best of YOUR ability. 

If you are tired, that is GREAT, it means you are pushing yourself and getting stronger. Simply take a break, and when you are ready, hop back in and pick back up where you left off!

How will I get in good shape without going to the gym or using any equipment?

This is one of the BIGGEST misconceptions about fitness.

First and foremost, check in with your doctor to ensure you are cleared for activity. 

Once you are cleared, our recommendation is that you do the workouts to the best of your ability and work through the exercises to a PAIN FREE range. Also, Phil will always suggest modifications for lower impact options as well as variations to take stress off joints!

What weights do I need to join the 6 Week Challenge?

What weights do I need to join the 6 Week Challenge?

 

If you have weights at home – use those

However, in an ideal world, 2-3 sets of weights would be perfect. 

  1. LIGHT
    • Anywhere from 3lbs – 10lbs. We will be moving FAST when using the light weights, and they are intended to provide SLIGHTLY more resistance than none at all. 
  2. MEDIUM
    • Anywhere from 5lbs – 15lbs. We will be moving at a MODERATE tempo. We are still looking to hit a high number (12-15) of reps when using our medium weights.
  3. HEAVY

Anywhere from 7.5lbs to 20 lbs. We will be moving at a SLOWER tempo. When using heavy weights we will be targeting 8-10 reps and building lean muscle.

Sure! However, we recommend you try at least ONE 30 day lean challenge before diving into the 6 Week Challenge. 

For those who have never done a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout before, it is quite different from conventional workouts, so we suggest to start with full body weight and progress from there! 

Once you are comfortable with the movements, then moving to the 6 Week Lean Challenge will be a GREAT progression!

What’s the biggest difference between the 6 Week Challenge and 30 Day Challenge?

  1. The length of the Program
  2. The complexity of the movements 
  3. The addition of the weights each day

These are the 3 main differentiators between the two programs! You are going to get a GREAT workout if you sign up for either, but the major feedback has been that the 6 Week Challenge is a great PROGRESSION from the 30 Day Challenge!

The Leanness Never Stops!

We have Phases 3 & 4 of the 6 Week Challenge to make sure you KEEP PROGRESSING, KEEP IMPROVING, and NEVER PLATEAU!

Won’t I get “Big and Bulky” if I am using weights every day?

No!

The way that the workouts are structured, High Intensity Interval Training (“HIIT”) ensures that we are keeping the tempo high and the pace UP! This means that although we are building lean muscle, we will be melting fat. 

This is not to say that you won’t improve your muscle tone and become more sculpted, it means that you won’t look large and “puffy”
