Jessica got started on the #90DAYLEANPLAN in May 2019! In 3 short months, Jessica was able to lose 25 pounds! She was inspired by a fellow squadie, and used that inspiration to commit herself to living a lean life where eating healthy and exercise were an important part of her life! With determination and dedication, Jessica no longer feels sluggish and tired – she now feels LEAN, and FULL OF ENERGY! This lean-mom was able to do all of this while raising twins! Jessica has truly been such a lean-spiration to myself and the LEANSQUAD community!
We wanted to thank our August Super Squadie for being so LEAN-SPIRING! She has definitely been a positive and motivational part of the squad since she first began her journey with us! We know you will continue to CRUSH through your next phase, and will be READY and WILLING to take on any challenges that come your way! Don’t get discouraged by a day, weekend or WEEK of Whoopsies just get back on the Lean-train. This is meant to be a lifestyle not a fad diet. Don’t get discouraged!
Q11: What would you say to someone who is about to start their lean journey?
DO IT! Stop making excuses and INVEST in yourself. I was worried about joining as we head into the summer (my FAVOURITE whoopsie season) but decided that it was now or never and that if this is truly going to be a lifestyle change then starting when I had the most challenges ahead of me would be best.

We recently moved to Hamilton and we aren’t eating out a whole lot (because twins) but when we do I love The French in Hamilton – great lean options! And if you want a really DELICIOUS whoopsie I highly reco Motel Restaurant in Hamilton for Brunch!

I love Flank steak and this marinade is AMAZING. I usually pair with asparagus and a nice arugula salad with a homemade lemon vinaigrette.
Flank Steak Marinade (2 lb. flank steak):
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp red wine or balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
